Diagnose before you treat
Most men "fix" their profile by adding more — more photos, longer bio, more prompts. The real fix almost always starts with subtraction. You don't have a weak profile because you have too few signals; you have one because the wrong signals are dominating.
Step 1 — Score it honestly
Get your profile scored before you change anything. Use an AI dating profile analyzer (or a brutally honest friend) to give you a 0–100 first-impression rating per photo, plus an attractiveness score for your bio. Lion's Forge's Tinder Profile Workshop does this in 30 seconds.
Step 2 — Identify the dragging element
Look at the lowest-scoring item. That single element is doing most of the damage. Removing or replacing it usually moves your average score up by 5–10 points immediately.
Step 3 — Rewrite, don't tweak
If the feedback identifies several structural problems, compare a fresh draft with an edited version rather than treating 70 as a universal pass mark.
Step 4 — Test in batches
Change three things, ship for a week, measure. Don't change everything at once or you'll never know what worked.
Step 5 — Conversation game
A high-converting profile only matters if you can hold a conversation. The third reason profiles "fail" isn't the profile — it's the early messages. Use a chat reply assistant to keep your opener and first three replies sharp.
The weekend playbook
By the next weekend, you'll know exactly what worked.
